Hi everyone. I haven't been participating much here in the past few months. I've had many personal and professional struggles in the past 5 months and it was so easy to just push those delete buttons on everything in my Inbox. . .so I'm very sorry if I've seemed distant. I'm vowing to make 2012 much better and one of my unofficial resolutions is to be better about checking and replying to messages! Hopefully you'll be hearing more from me. Wow, thanks to all of you for being so patient in me replying to comments you've left over the past few weeks. The last month has been very difficult with the unexpected passing of my very beloved grandmother and poking around in my Inbox here has not been my highest priority. Last weekend was Fanime, and it continues to be hands-down the best convention of the year. I heard rumblings of rude staff and a nonexistent program schedule, but pshaw! Who goes to cons and pays lots of money to actually see panels and do actual activities related to the con? NOT ME! I'm not going to write a big long con report (I'm in progress on that project on LiveJournal) but I'm very happy to have seen so many wonderful people over the weekend and take some beautiful photos with them!
